Benchmark best practice from around the world to ensure the success of your Number Portability solution

Number Portability is gathering pace across the Middle East, Africa and Asia and this event will provide operators and regulators from across the regions with an exclusive opportunity to learn from global success stories as well as the challenges that their peers and competitors have met.

Now in its third year, Number Portability Middle East 2010 will build on the success of the past two events and feature operator and regulator case studies as well as a number of targeted and interactive tutorials led by leading industry experts.

Attendees will learn how to develop and sustain a successful Number Portability solution as well as discover how to overcome the challenges associated with implementing NP in small and large countries alike.

Key issues that will be address include:

  • Discover the role that the Operator Clearing House has played in ensuring that Denmark’s NP solution is one of the most successful in Europe
  • Learn about Vodafone’s global experiences of Number Portability and find out how Vodafone are preparing for the implementation of NP in Qatar
  • Hear how to leverage Number Portability as a tool to increase customer acquisition whilst minimising the impact on customer churn
  • Examine the new challenges that have come to light in Europe and find out from the Norwegian  Post and Telecommunications Authority how they are overcoming them
  • Determining how to implement a successful NP solution in a market with high penetration levels
  • Understanding how to cost-effectively meet the timescales for implementing NP
  • Establishing the role of the regulator in ensuring the successful implementation of NP
  • Understanding how to leverage NP as a tool to increase customer acquisition whilst minimising customer churn
