Bjørn Amundsen has been responsible for the mobile coverage in Telenor Norway since 1994. He has been working with all the mobile technologies since 1G.
Bjørn is always "on the road" for an optimal coverage quality in the network. He is working close against the Ministry of Transport and Communication as well as members of the Government and local politicians. He is a demanded speaker for many mobile events across the world.
Mr. Vesterinen has been working as a well acclaimed and respected expert for well over ten years within the telecommunications sector. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Management and Engineering and has worked for several years for mobile operators in Europe and Finland. Mr. Vesterinen has been working at Omnitele since 1998 and is currently responsible for Network Planning.
Mark Neild is Head of Business Transformation for West Europe at Nokia Siemens Networks and has the objective of helping NSN’s customers to apply innovative commercial methods to get better value from telecoms infrastructure. In essence this is about working closely with customers to deliver substantial transformation programmes to reduce costs and/or improve the service delivered to end customers.
Before NSN he had been one of the leading thinkers in the Telecommunications practice of PA Consulting Group a business transformation consultancy. Whilst at PA, Mark delivered a number of transformation projects for clients including modernisation, outsourcing and telecoms infrastructure sharing. He also supported a number of corporate finance transactions and directed the company’s innovation unit.
The last paper he presented at an IIR conference on the cultural barriers to achieving transformation was subsequently adapted for publication in the Journal of Telecommunication Management.
He has an MBA majoring in finance and is registered with the FSA to deliver Corporate Finance advice
With more than 12 years experience in telecommunications industry, Anne Typhagne is currently Business Development Director for Managed Services for Motorola Networks Services. She joined Motorola in 1996 as a System Engineer working in France. She occupied several leadership functions delivering services for Motorola customers in Europe. Over the last 6 years, her focus has been business development for Motorola’s Professional and Managed Services.

With more than 15 years of global experience in the telecommunications industry, Nuno Melo currently is responsible for Motorola’s Managed Services Business in EMEA and Asia Pacific for the Wirless Networks Business.
Nuno has occupied several leadership positions in the services business at both Ericsson AB Sweden and Lucent Technologies and has extensive international exposure around the globe. His experiences focus on service sales, business development, operations, outsourcing, and strategy/consulting for next generation wireless solutions.
Based on his Managed Services expertise and understanding of the customer value chain, Nuno regularly is invited by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), a prestigious Suisse business school, to co-lecture on “Opportunities in Mature Markets”
He received his MBA from IMD and an MSc in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Tecnico. Nuno is based in Portugal.
Bharat Vagadia is a Board Director of the National Outsourcing Association. He is also CEO of Op2i – a niche business improvement firm specialising in outsourcing (www.Op2i.com). Bharat is also an advisor to the ITU on policy and regulatory matters.
Bharat has been involved in ICT for over 12 years, and has advised governments, regulatory authorities, and operators in UK, Western and Eastern Europe, Kenya, Bahrain, Jordan, KSA, Egypt, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, the UAE and India.
Bharat has also worked extensively with organisations, large and small, on strategy, financing, marketing, business process management, SLA development and more generally, outsourcing.
He published in August 2007, a book through Springer: “Outsourcing to India – a Legal Handbook”, which offers concise, digestible and relevant legal advice to help ensure an outsourcing deal delivers on its promise, offering practical advice for organisations on mechanisms to reduce outsourcing risk. The International Law and Management Review Journal commented: "Outsourcing to India: A Legal Handbook is a welcome addition to the library of books on outsourcing to India. The book contains information useful to the attorney drafting instruments to be used between a service provider and an outsourcer, and information for the person working on the business side of the outsourcing relationship. This book is a solid resource for any professional new to outsourcing because it focuses only on relevant information and concerns both lawyers and business professionals alike".
Bharat has just completed a PhD, researching the interplay of legal contracts and trust in outsourcing relationships. He has been awarded an LLM in Commercial Law, an MBA from Imperial Business School, a 1st Class (Hons) in Engineering from King’s College London, and a CIM Diploma in Marketing.
Chris heads PA's Communications, Media & Entertainment practice. He has over 25 years experience in telecommunications and related industries. He has particular expertise in the areas of business strategy, licence applications and negotiation, business start-up management and launch, product/service development and network/IT sourcing. After 11 years at PA he went on to found and successfully grow two start-up companies before rejoining PA in 2006.
