The must attend event for in-building professionals

The rapid growth of indoor usage of mobile broadband services and the evolution towards LTE (4G) give rise to new questions about the choice of indoor solutions and technology evolutionary path best suited to meet current and future indoor coverage and capacity needs. Operators must re-evaluate their radio network planning strategies and decide how to upgrade their macro network and deploy picocells and/or femtocells to ensure adequate indoor coverage for future services.

This year’s Summit will address all these topics in detail, from persistent challenges such as optimising cell planning and finding the optimum mix of in-building solutions for different building types as well as tunnels to emerging indoor coverage challenges associated with the evolution to LTE and the increasing deployment of pico- and femtocells.

Key topics at this year's event include:

  • Listen to HUTCHISON 3G UK evaluate different technologies available to network operators to meet indoor coverage requirements
  • Learn more about TELEKOM DEUTSCHLAND'S WCDMA off-air repeater planning principles for HSPA and high network/cell load in the UTRAN
  • Find our from TELE2 CROATIA in which scenarios to use active or passive DAS to ensure optimum indoor coverage
  • Hear TURKCELL outline its experiences of sharing an active DAS with two other operators at Istanbul International Airport
  • Listen to OPTIMUS assess enterprise femtocells as a cost-efficient and convenient alternative to meeting the indoor coverage and capacity needs of enterprise customer
  • Discover how TMN is addressing the strategic and technical challenges involved in providing optimum indoor coverage on trains
  • Learn from TELECOM ITALIA how operators can meet building owners' demands for future proof in-building solutions
  • Hear how MOBITEL has optimised its indoor repeater system in order to maximise customer satisfaction

Why should you attend?

Already established as the key event for operators to address in-building coverage challenges, this year’s event will incorporate a range of new and increased learning and networking opportunities. Learn from the experiences of your peers and industry experts through practical case studies on a wide range of topics evaluating the different technologies and solutions available to meet your indoor coverage and capacity requirements

Key questions to be addressed:

How can you meet building owners’ demands for future proof in-building solutions?
Are enterprise femtocells a cost-efficient and convenient alternative for meeting the indoor coverage and capacity needs of enterprise customers?
What solutions are available for optimising in-building coverage and capacity to manage the exponential growth of data usage indoors?
What are the requirements for designing an optimal indoor LTE network that will smoothly integrate with the outdoor network?
How can you overcome the challenges involved in site acquisition for in-building coverage?
